Come join well-known award-winning bento artist and JSIA-certified instructor, Shirley Wong (@littlemissbento), and make these cute deco-sushi characters!
On April 9, 2016, Shirley will host three interactive and hands-on classes at Garden Kitchen East in Shinjuku, Tokyo, in partnership with events company, Japan Awaits. The sushi is not only fun to make, they will bring joy to every bento box and spice up your meal at parties, picnics and other social gatherings. You can even take some home at the end of the class and show off your new skills as you share it with your friends and family!
The pre-sale cost is 8,000 JPY per person (11,000 JPY at the door, subject to availability). The class will be instructed in English (with translations provided in Japanese).

About Little Miss Bento
Shirley Wong, also known as “Little Miss Bento”, gained a large following of fans when she started posting her adorable Japanese bento lunchbox creations and unique deco sushi rolls on her blog and social media channels on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter (@littlemissbento).
As the top bento artist and blogger in Singapore, Shirley has won many awards for her bento creations and is often featured on numerous local and international media.
With some four years of bento-making and food art experience under her belt, she is also the only Singaporean to be certified under the Japan Sushi Instructor Association in Tokyo. She also conducts bento classes and workshops to share her passion for sushi and bento-making.
She published her first much-anticipated cookbook, Kawaii Bento, in December 2014 which was a best seller that sold out within three months! Following the success of her first cookbook, Shirley has launched her second cookbook, Kawaii Deco Sushi, in July 2015 for deco sushi-making.
